Braided hair or Loose hair?
How do I wash my interlock?
My interlock is shedding. What do I do?
Is an interlock the same thing as "latch-hook"?

Braided hair or Loose hair?
Choosing braided or loose interlock hair is all based on the style you wish to achieve. The loose hair is individually curled for easy application, and the braided hair comes already braided. The braided hair is maintenance free, whereas the loose hair needs to be cared for to prevent tangling, etc.

How do I wash my interlock?
Your interlock style can be washed by applying a diluted shampoo directly or you can purchase a braid shampoo that can be sprayed on your scalp. Use fingertips to remove excess dirt and oil from your scalp (under the tracks) and rinse thoroughly. Apply a braid spray to replace any moisture that was lost during the washing process. Allow braids to air dry before going to bed to avoid smelly braids (mildew).

My interlock is shedding. What do I do?
It is common for your interlock to shed MINIMALLY however if you notice a lot of shedding, you should consult your stylist. When you get your NEXT INTERLOCK, have your stylist apply some bonding glue to the hair to keep it from shedding. Do not attempt to apply the bonding glue to your own hair!

Is interlock the same thing as "latch-hook"?
Yes, an interlock and a latch-hook style is the same thing. This process has become very popular because one could have micro braids interlocked creating the appearance of micro individually braided braids that cost a fraction as much, took a fraction of the time to do, and take a fraction of the time to remove.
