ExceptionalHair.com has gone GREEN!! So, what exactly does this mean and how will you be affected?
What this means for us:
Going GREEN will effect just about every aspect of how we operate. All of our staff is encouraged to Recycle, Reduce and Reuse. This means that we actively recycle our paper goods and reuse shipping boxes whenever possible. We have also started reducing our water and energy usage by checking for water leaks and encouraging our employees to enable their computer energy settings and turning off all computers and lights when our offices are closed.
Due to our staff's dedication to Go GREEN, some have decided to commute or ride their bikes to work instead of driving. To further encourage their efforts, the option of working from home 1-2 days per week was offered and warmly accepted by our staff.
Not only does this allow us as a company to Go GREEN however it also opens the door for our employees to implement the same values and changes at home. It is very important to our staff and their families that we maintain a high awareness of conserving the natural resources of our planet and we all hope that we are able to pass along the message.
What this means for you:
Order processing will not be effected by our efforts to Go GREEN!! Most of the
calls we receive are for order status inquiries. We will now be entering all
order status information in the system where it can be viewed by you. Simply
click "Track
Order" and enter your order number. The most current information about
your order will be posted for your review.
At least one representative will be in the office to assist with callers however we do strongly encourage you to contact us via email. When our reps are working from home, it will be more convenient to respond via email however if you need to speak with someone or have a call returned, we will be more than happy to accommodate you.
Finally, some items will be shipped with reduced packaging. This simply means that any unnecessary or bulky packaging will be removed by the manufacturer or our warehouse staff before shipping to ensure it is properly recycled or reused.
What this means on a global scale:

tree!!
Our
planet is in a major state of crisis with global warming. The steady
increasing temperatures are causing our oceans to rise along with destructive
weather changes. Carbon dioxide is the culprit. In order to reverse the
damage, we all must implement a plan to reduce, reuse and recycle while
planting new trees that will help supply our planet with much needed oxygen.
